I owned one of these 240s back in the 90s and something that stands out to this day was how good the fit and finish of this vehicle was.. Premium materials came together perfectly in a very fun and affordable car..You could tell the engineers and folks that built these really put in the hours and cared about the finished product.

1:55 Here we see a long extinct species, a 240SX with the stock exhaust system.

I wish Nissan would make a modern equivalent.

This era of the 240SX was a classy ride. I had a 1991 Toyota Celica ST back in the day, and a friend of mine had a 240SX. This was of course a much more refined car. I remember it well. With the chip shortage, making retro, simple vehicles without all of the computerized elements would be an interesting move.

The 240sx was much childhood dream car and in 2010 I purchased a ruby red 91 240sx hatch 1 owner in factory condition with 78k on the odometer seeing the video that sparked the passion I had for that car for 24 years lit my face up like the sun

The 240sx had the best console ever made. I love how simple it is and how it swooped at that sexy angle. Yeah...angles are sexy!

Without the turbochargers that give insurance agents seizures HAHA! I have a bone stock white 1993 hatch SE Super Hicas! Wow it's so nimble and fun to drive!

I bought a black Fastback new in October of 1991. It was my every day driver for 21-1/2 years. Over those years I spent more on stereos and reapolsetry than repairs. The love affair ended when I rear ended a Lexus. A bent frame was the cause of death. I still miss her.

Nissan needs to bring this back, they really need a cheaper car for the younger audience to get in! low 20k range and don't top 30k as you will get in the area of the 370z. It would really make some good sales, imagine if it started at some odd number like 19k...oh Lawd would the sales go nuts!!! Common Nissan, get back in the game!

1992 204SX 5 speed coupe was my first car. It was still turning heads in 2007 when I gave it to my stepdaughter. Damn, I miss that car.

I had a 1990 240SX and he was spot on in his review, right down to having to lean over the steering wheel to see the controls. What I don't get is his criticism of the lack of gauges. I got the speed, tripometer, fuel tank, engine temperature and tachometer. Plus it delivered a sports car performance at compact car insurance rates! I went back to Nissan 3 years ago by leasing a Rogue and I think I'll stick to them for a while.
