My grandpa has one sitting on his desk. My great uncle was a fire chief for NASA and was given one. The land the Kennedy Space Center literally sits on was our family’s land as a side note.

I remember when I first got into rock shops back in the 90's everyone knew someone that had a piece of moon rock hidden somewhere, that was before you could buy "genuine & untreated" 5 ct emeralds at 29.99$ on Etsy.

Awesome! Could you also do a video about Martian rocks?

Moon rocks rock.

Though I must say that a standard Google search brings up quite a few things that appear to have little to do with ancient material from the moon.

You should do some on Achondrite meteorites!! I think they’re fascinating! Differentiated bodies, like ours, but not from Earth! Ugh!!! Yes, please

I actually think I’ve found one at the golf course I work at in Northern California . It’s magnetic -ish sets off phone magnetron immediately. It is multiple pounds heavier than any other rocks its size . Sample 7007 sure looks familiar

Well, I didn’t know the Apollo Moon rock samples were worth such a fortune. As a kid, I actually touched one of these samples in the Smithsonian museum, it was only small and very smooth, probably from all the people touching it. Great video, thank you.

Lunar meteorite is better as it is the same thing, not illegal and cheaper than the ones from Apollo missions

How awesome it would be to be gifted a moon rock?

The majority were probably "undeliverable"... ask the United States Post Office... we just might find all those "lost" Christmas gifts

Amazing being given something so special it makes me also question a watch created by Romain Jerome the moon dust. After watching this video my doubts about the actual moondust has increased.

For the search i would start in New Zealand !!

Thanks for the amazing video
