NASA has made public a recording of a strange "music" that astronauts reported hearing in 1969 while on the far side of the Moon, and out of radio contact with the Earth. The story behind these unusual whistling noises was showcased Sunday night in a show on the cable channel Discovery, as part of a series called "NASA's Unexplained Files.”

So they recorded 1 hour of this "music" and they made a video that shows 4 seconds of it all mixed with the astronauts voices ans the narrator voice ?

It makes me COMPLETELY CRAZY that there doesn't seem to be ANY RECORDING ANYWHERE of these sounds for more than 2 seconds, without someone yabbering over them ! ( ? ) ( !!! )

They couldn't replay the "Music" because it violated the aliens' copyrights. Lol.

How nice of them to release the footage, 47 years later.

This is why I love logic "if there is something recorded then that means there's something there" we just have to find it, not ignore it, this is exploration after all.😎

Way to go talking over the noises 🤦🏽‍♂️

Since there is no air or medium for vibrations to travel through in space, wouldn’t that mean the noise couldn’t have come from outside the module if they were in space? I’m seriously asking.

"Here is the secret recorded sound" (cockpit chatter, narrator's voice, "you hear that? You hear that? You hear that?") Thanks NASA for the release 👍🖕🛌

One issue with NASA telling us it was radio interference between the command module and lunar module during separation as is that during the Apollo 11 mission Michael Collins circled around the backside of the moon all alone in the command module while Armstrong and Aldrin landed the lunar module on the opposite side. No other ship for the command module for Michael Collins to have radio interference with.

If you have a microphone next to a speaker you get the same sort of noise

Thanks for letting me hear 2 seconds of it (barely)

Who else got this in their recommendations?

Of course there’s a difference between the dark side which is facing outward away from the earth, it’s probably has a different frequency being on how it faces out into space, it picks up radiation and all kinds of space noise from other planets and their magnetic fields, those frequencies bounces of the moon and back outward and due to the fact that space is a vacuum, you can get all kinds of stuff.

"Reports say it wasn't alien music " lol I love how they had to tell us that

This sounds like a multi tone transmission. Given that no one was using such transmission techniques in 1969, we have to ask the obvious question, who was sending such signals?

I think his accent was more strange than the moon sounds
