EV is 5 lakhs costlier than petrol cars...Now after saving 5 lakhs you can fill 4761 litres of petrol ...At usual mileage you can travel 50000 kms then only petrol cars will turn out to be costly...Now mind it that batteries will also be required to be changed in future so effect is null and void

Insurance companies don't offer coverage to batteries in case of damages caused by accident. This is a big concern. I'll never consider an EV until this is addressed.

At the moment, EV is good idea only for people who can afford 2 cars, one for long trips which runs by Petrol/diesel. One for city commute which runs by electricity.

Over 4-5 years battery range will reduce by 40-50%.

In 7-8 years you will have to replace batteries which will be very expensive.

Resale may not be very good due to battery issues in old car

What happened with cell towers? Same thing right? All competing companies are using common infrastructure of cell towers.
