Sad truth: nobody can exist politically in the Middle East without recurring to violence.

This is why Islam is not from God:

Jesus said he is the son of God (John 10:36)
Muhammad comes later and says God has no son (Quran 23:91)

Jesus said he died and resurrected in (Revelation 1:18)

Muhammad comes later and says Jesus wasn't crucified (Quran 4:157)

Jesus warned of false prophets in Matthew 7:15
The Bible says many will be deceived.(Matthew 24:11)

Contradiction in the quran

quran says, “Let there be no compulsion in religion: (quran 2:256)

quran then says Fight those who believe not in Allah Quran (9:29).

Even hadith supports this view

I have been commanded to fight against people till they testify that there is no god but Allah, that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,

Sahih Muslim 22
Book 1, Hadith 36

Muhammad reliability:

Once the Prophet (ﷺ) was bewitched so that he began to imagine that he had done a thing which in fact he had not done.
Sahih al-Bukhari 3175
In-book reference : Book 58, Hadith 17

Hadith reveals Muhammad received inspiration from satan:

How does the the wahi (inspiration) come to you? He said: At times it comes to me like the ringing of a bell
Sahih Muslim 2333b
Book 43, Hadith 117

The bell is the musical instrument of the Satan.
Sahih Muslim 2114
In-book reference : Book 37, Hadith 159

Wow, I'm really surprised to see Fr. Josiah Trenham on your channel! My fiancé and I have been getting interested in Orthodoxy and I've been watching a lot of his videos lately, what a brilliant man

You definitely need to add him to your circle of people you listen to. He's very popular in our Orthodox circles. Fr. Josiah is amazing.

There is a reason that there are different denominations of Christians. Some came into existence because of different interpretations about how the religion should be practiced (i.e. infant baptism with follow up confirmation vs. age of understanding type baptism; sprinkling vs. immersion baptism, or disagreements about Jesus real presence in Communion vs. it being a symbol of our forgiveness. There are also different beliefs about the end times.) Other denominations grew in different geographical areas because of where missionaries went. The fact is probably none of us understand every element perfectly and we will all learn something new when we get to heaven. Still, you don't find any of us killing each other over differences in theology. Isn't it better that we remain friendly while practicing our faith in the manner we find most inspiring? I feel a kinship with all Christians. They are my "peeps."

Well said, don’t pay attention of people who try to bring division among us with their "questions"

As a protestant, I am happy that you belong to Christ now ❤

As an Orthodox priest you need to decide before being ordained if you want a family then it is advised to marry then to be ordained after marriage, or if the priest wants to be celibate he takes the vow of celibacy then can be ordained.

It should be pointed out that Assad regularly supported Hezbollah in Lebanon, which in turn caused the oppression of Lebanese Christians. So in essence, the Assad family simply exported the mistreatment of Christians to Lebanon.

Morning David and ap, God bless both of you always amen...am a Lebanese Christian maronite, (Catholic), I surrendered to our lord jesus in 2018..became a Christian or protestant for few years..then, last year, I got baptised in an orthodox coptic church in England where I live...I just like to call myself: a follower of our lord jesus....sounds lovely...I pray for Christian unity one day soon God willing...if we cannot love each other as Christians, how can we love our enemies ???!!! We should start by loving our family and friends first, then hopefully holy spirit will come and live in us, God willing, only then we can be followers of our lord jesus...not easy being a Christian, living with our lord, for our lord daily....we need, I need God's grace daily and his holy spirit to guide us through....help us lord to surrender daily to your holy spirit amen

A married man can enter the priesthood but an unmarried man cannot marry upon his ordination in the Orthodox church. Technically speaking that is.

Fr Trenham has had Robert Spencer on his channel. That's how I learned Robert had gone back to the Orthodox Church.

In Eastern Orthodoxy, priests can marry before they are consecrated. After that, they can´t marry any more. So, if a priest-s wife will die, they can´t marry again. Bishops are normally chooen from people, who are monks, and they do not marry. In many Orthodox countries, it is expected a priest, unless he is religious (monk), he should be married before consecration, although no dogma specifically requires priest to be married.
