This was very helpful. I have been beating my head agains the wall. I have the pro account for Canva but the SVG files weren't importing right. The come out missing pieces or with added chunks. The issue seems to be that Canva exports an SVG with multiple layers that don't import correctly in Tinkercad. Your workaround fixes the issue because it the artwork ends up being brought in as a single layer. Thanks!

Thank you! I was trying to import a simple graphic from canva (I have pro and was exporting as SVG) but it wouldn't work! Managed to do it following this video though

I've been having problems with Affinity and PowerPoint exporting SVGs. When viewed they look fine, but on import tinkercad says it can't find any artwork. If I export as an image and convert using Convertio, it always works, but ideally it should stay native vector.
