Did you know you could design a SVG in Canva? You can make simple text and graphic SVG files in Canva to use with any any design program you want. In this tutorial I'll show you how to make a SVG in Canva and then upload the design to Cricut Design Space and Edit it from there.

You will need a Canva Pro account to do this. Click the affiliate link below to try it free for 30 days.

Thank you for this ! So easy to understand. Do you find any issues with svgs from Canva not loading right or loading scrambled? Seeing some comments about that.

Hi, I'm a newbie and I am wondering am I right when I say - every design I have made in Canva must be grouped before saving as SVG? I would like to make simple quote SVG's, so I must make sure that all my layers are grouped together, and then save as an SVG.

I commented on your inkscape seamless wrap tutorial. Im sure you didnt see the comment. Would you mind doing a tutorial on how you print in inkscape your seamless wrap that you designed in that program? If you dont print from inkscape, what do you use? Everytime i print from inkscape it prints one side. But only prints half of the other side. I would appreciate any help. TIA!
