Let's be honest: Fates might not have the best story, but the soundtrack is awesome and the gameplay is really fun, especially in Conquest. I always come back for more.

Why does Fates' music constantly get shafted? Corrin in Smash Bros only has Lost in Thoughts and its remixes, and in FE Heroes, the boss theme for Fates characters is the INTRO THEME OF ALL THINGS. It is painful to see such an incredible soundtrack be so wasted.

"Misery in hand" is an apt title - Nohr blames Hoshido for its own misery, due to their hoarding of resources and general dismissive attitude towards their people.
"Condemnation" is also a good title - Hoshido condemns Nohr for its 'barbarity' and lack of honor, not realizing that they do what they do out of necessity (for the most part, not counting Garon..) not out of pure malice.

Honestly this OST was enough to make me instantly love the game. Fates was my first FE so I wasn't aware of the controversy back then but even now this music makes me look past all the flaws... definitely one of my favorite video game soundtracks of all time.
Also, love the transitions in this video!

A Dark Fall remains among my favourite of all Fire Emblem map themes, followed closely by Justice RIP and Road Taken lol

To you, uploader Willis Ng, I give a thousand years of thanks, for the meticulous detail you put into sequencing and Perfectly blending each track into the next.

I haven't played this game at all but I am so in love with the soundtrack after giving your video a listen. Every other uploader just had a disparate set of tracks they liked and no one seemed to stitch the calm and storm versions together.

This is just perfection honestly. Thank you so much.

Justice RIP and Thorn in You are really good at making player feeling bad for fighting their enemies. They would be more effective if story beats leading to them weren't contrived, but still. Incredible soundtrack.

I do still think this game is below average for a fire emblem game, but the themes are the best by far out of the fire emblems

I absolutely love the fact that there are the normal songs and then the galvanized versions lol

No one going talk about Contest of Pride? That theme is a banger! Such a shame it only plays in the DLC, though. Would've killed to have it as an aux battle theme.
Also, the transition from Regular to Roar is so good!
