I saw a VERY similar color out in Los Angeles: It was marketed as "L A Lakers" to represent the purple and gold. You can draw your own conclusions as to the accuracy.

Chameleon it's called... color changing paint that reflects off different angles to give you a rainbow effect... They have it in different colors too
