Hey I look 5 different videos, no, none of the videos had the right idea what they doing, . But your video give me the RIGHT answer, I just fixed my Problem, 100% Thanks, good explanation. it took 42 seconds.

Can confirm also 98-2000 also has this issue: I got my replacement from junkyard from an 03 forester, swapped it into my ‘00 and I fuelled up and it starts fine. I tested the vent solenoid with power and ground and it wasn’t clicking, the replacement clicks

Hi. I placed this piece on order not to long ago. I however was not throwing a code. My issue is, it is a pain to fill up my car. I have to trickle in fuel otherwise the nozzle will shut off. Did your car do this at all? I have, to my knowledge, checked all of the other hoses for blockages and found nothing.
