Homemade XXL 2WD electric scooter with dual hoverboard motors * build * testdrive *

I built a DIY homemade fat tyre electric scooter with dual hoverboard motors front and rear. Tubing is a combination of 35mm, 20mm and 16mm, 2mm wall thickness.
Unfortunately I did not film the build process but I included some build pictures.
It is foldable and has led lights and underglow.
Wheels are from an 110cc atv.
Compared with a regular scooter it is really massive.

Specifications:
hooverboard motor front and rear: 36v 350w
dual brushless motor controllers 48v 350w (aliexpress)
4 hoverboard batteries: 4x 36v 4400mAh
top speed (driver 65kg): 38 km/h on GPS
autonomy: 17 km
weight incl batteries: 35,2 kg

Just stumbled on this 3 years after the fact😊, wow what a great looking scooter, that frame looks built to last and capable of taking a bit of weight, unlike some of the scooters we see even brand ones that look a bit flimsy. .

This is fantastic! I won't have the time to build my own frame but would def like to try to repurpose a scooter and add some hoverboard motors. Hoverboards die all the time and people sell them for dirt cheap here in the states.

Very cool. Seems overbuilt, but there's nothing wrong with that of course. I'm looking at making something like this that's sort of a feet-forward motorcycle: Long wheelbase, seat, lots of power, suspension, fairings, etc.

Because it certainly did not look like it has only a top speed of 17 klm or whatever you stated especially wen you kikd it in there rite before the bridge, GEEZ man it's killer just great bro !! Ya I love that color also !!

Put a removable support with a nice seat and you will have something. This may appeal to a lot of folks who can't stand up all the time and are looking for a quality scooter.

Great job! What's it's weight? Pretty hefty with all that steel tube I imagine. Would be nice if in the next video, you confirm your creative brain IS worth protecting by putting a full face helmet on!!
