I like the idea that Mimikyu hunts Pikachus and uses their skins to get close to other Pikachus without arousing suspicion, like an assassin bug wearing the corpses of ants it previously killed in order to mask its scent and slip into an ant colony undetected.

As a diehard Mimikyu fan, this is fantastic. I've seen a fair share of "what's under Mimikyu's costume" takes, but this one is super fresh and scary. I love how the exposed part of the ear with the bug-like body underneath makes it look like the black part of the ear on a regular Pikachu. Super cool take! I would still hug it.

From what I remember canonically, Mimikyu is dextrous enough that it made itself a Pikachu-inspired outfit out of cloth because no human or Pokemon would befriend it because it looked so scary.

This is a pretty unique interpretation of mimikyu. I know that the reason it wears a costume is to hide itself because it's that disturbing, but it wearing another pokemon's skin brings the possibility that it's not just hiding, but actually mimicking a pokemon. Amazing videos as always!

I like to think that the arthropod is a jawless organism and thus once it kills a pikachu with it’s poisonous tails, it “breaks in” via an obvious entrance, an effort to not damage the upper body, and uses its tentacles to excrete digestive enzymes which liquify the internal organs while also preserving the skin. Once the arthropod is done consuming, it then cuts off the legs and there we have it; a mimikyu

the face was very accurate to the way an animal's skin looks when it is removed from the rest of the body, the nose and eyes mainly, it was the same as when I remove the skin from mice for taxidermy

With how dark the Pokémon franchise can actually be, especially with the stories of some ghost type Pokémon, I think this Mimikyu would fit in just perfectly!
