I dont think there’s any bad wood types, just some are easier to come up with ideas for than others.

Could have done way better with birch, jungle, mangrove, and crimson. It would be possible if the the mindset of people aren't that these woods are not good looking. Also if all efforts go to spruce then others wouldn't look good obviously

a lot of builders dont do any interiors in these kinds of videos, so i was pleasantly surprised when you did them! great video, it was really cool hearing your thoughts as you built and seeing all the unique housrs come together.

(lighthearted tangent incoming, no real anger, video was very good) Justice for Birch. It's actually one of the better wood types. Very light in color means great contrast potential. Bark texture is almost perfectly hue neutral which makes it very versatile. And overall it can play nicely when paired with other wood types like Oak or Spruce. It's ranked #4 in my eyes, only beaten by Oak, Crimson, and Warped.

Dear glob I keep hoping Mojang will eventually add an azalea wood type, it’s itching in my brain so much that it doesn’t have its own wood type! Bamboo get its own but not my lush azalea boi, it makes me really sad.

I also wish that they’ll add a feature to the sniffer that can give you ancient saplings so you can grow prehistoric trees and get unique colored and textured wood types… man if only I knew how to make mods I’d be making a butt ton of tree variants with differing wood type and leaf blocks
