Embark on an Epic Journey: From Field to Dugout, The Hobbit's House

Hi friends!
This is a whole video in which the entire process of creating a dugout or you can say a Hobbit House.

In this video, I found and dug a place for a dugout, put up a frame, walls and made a stove.
He also made a bed, a chair, installed doors and windows.
I lined the roof from the beginning with a film, and then with moss, made a path and lined the dugout with stone. I made a crib for Loki.
And for dinner, he prepared fish, which he released into a small stone fish tank near the house.

The project itself turned out to be very interesting, cozy and reliable.

After watching The Hobbit and Lord of the rings I’ve always wanted a hobbit house just like this. This man has a great talent and I so admire his creativity. Who wants to live in a house like this? You absolutely have to love the dog. He’s a young pup and loving hanging out and walking on the roof. Helping to inspect the wood around the door. And, of course, the extra laying around. Great place to go for quiet, reading and enjoyment of nature.

Thank you for doing things the right way! So many times I see bushcraft videos of them making a “cabin” or “dugout” but they don’t consider construction techniques that will aid in the shelter’s longevity such as ground water (water table) or wood rot from contact with moist soil. So thank you for making a beautiful hobbit hole that will last for some time!
