Why don't police chase Street Racers? It's actually a really good reason. It's because of a "No Chase Policy" that was implemented in many states, and the reasoning is that it needlessly puts civilians and the officers lives at risk to chase someone who is ultimately just...driving an empty road chasing a thrill. It's well known someone speeding on an empty road late at night is really only a danger to themselves. I do not condone anything said/shown in this video that is positively remarking Street Racing.

Never thought that the phrase "winner takes all" would apply to police chases but here we are.

"Cool Koenigsegg you were racing with. I reckon it will look better with a GSP livery on it."

"Need For Speed is unrealistic"

Georgia police: You're right. They're not Xtreme enough.

In Washington we have planes patrolling at night, and they just take note of where the street racers eventually park their car 💀

Getting your car taken by the Georgia police and them turning it into a pursuit vehicle is just the teams auto-balancing. Gotta keep the simulation fair guys!
Edit: I want my pin back

imagine street racing your celica, getting caught, doing it again, only to be pursued by your very own celica

Some time ago, a cop shared a story about when he was on patrol duty at night and a Corvette blew past him at 130mph. He mentioned that first, it was a mostly empty road (since it was around 1am), giving chase would just make the speeder panic and the chances of a crash would be much higher so it's usually not worth the effort.

The one thing I noticed on how lots of fake license plate speeders get caught is because of human habits.

Pretty easy to figure out a “will run” driver when they drive the same stretch of highway every Tuesday night, and park at the same 7-11 gas station every few days.

They will eventually get caught, but it takes a few months.

I’m being very specific because of the 4 instances I’ve seen this happen.

If you want to street race on veteran difficulty, go to Georgia

In Georgia they don’t give up man. But if you’ve lived through Atlanta Traffic you’d want to race out of there too.

The impounding vehicles for pursuits is very true, a department near me apparently had a stolen dodge demon they seized for chasing down other fast stolen cars like hellcats, camaros, and mustangs.

Georgia = Real-Life NFS Most Wanted '05 cops, with that GTA AI twist where they’ll grab whatever’s nearby to keep the chase going. 💀🚓

“Turn them into pursuit vehicles”
A subtle way of saving those street racer cars.
