I have this UA LA-610 is incredible on vocals, its $1800. now though...still worth every penny if you want top quality pro level studio vocals

Great video.  Helping me decide which mic pre to decide on.  Other considerations are Neve clones.  Main purpose is male vocals.

The compressor on this is slow, allowing large peaks/ transients/ spikes on notes before it activates. There's a mod apparently but I dunno much about that.

I have a tlm 49 I’ve heard a lot on the bae 1073 as well witch would you prefer

This may be my next purchase... I get really good results from my presonus eureka also...

Unfortunately, the only part that can be bypassed is the compressor. So you can use it as a pre/eq without compression

You talking bout what the videos didn't mention or demo meanwhile u didnt give a demo on how the compressor sounds or how to work it so u cant talk bout the other videos when yours not nobetter
