Universal Audio Solo 610 preamp and D.I

The Universal Audio 610 is my favorite preamp of all times. This incredible and versatile preamp comes in 3 different flavors: Solo, LA-610 MkII and 6176. In this particular video I go over the SOLO 610 and use it on bass, one of my favorite sources to put the 610 through.

0:52 i believe the 6176 has a 610B and the LA610 a 610A, so not the "same" pre-amp as far as I understand? 
Or is there actually any difference between the 610 variants? I have the solo 610 box, but before used the plugin versions with the Apollo, and there were 610 A and B. So just wondering what the differences are.

It's over 18 years old and still costs around 1200 Euros new - ouch! I prefer my UA 610-B Preamp plugin that came free with my UAD Apollo Arrow. 😉

Its very good but the Neve 1073SPX is better. I have both.
