Priscilla was asked once what would elvis be doing if he hadn't become so famous and she said he would be a preacher.

A singer's vibrato changes as they age. The vibrato slows down and control lessens. For example, listen to Steve Lawrence in his early years, and compare that to his most recent performances.

My Mother was a professional Opera singer, when she passed away at 72 she could barely sing anymore so age definitely changes the voice..

he didn’t say he wasn’t elvis, he said he was never anyone else or ever will be anyone else but who he is today

I used to sing years ago but my voice has changed much in 20 years.

Consider that he's now 85, his voice just matured. Great voice too!!

You did a good job with this comparison. I can tell you love Elvis when you smile when hearing Elvis. And, i may add, you have a good voice too.

Elvis’s voice was so unique you could tell the difference even with his impersonators even the best impersonators you can always tell a difference

No one can compare to Elvis! He was one of a kind!

People's voices change as they get older and the vibrato gets looser and less tight. I'm a singer vocalist myself and been around it for most all of my life

However, the age difference is HUGE! I have been singing a long time and my voice is definitely a lot different than when I was in my 20’s, 30, s and 40’s. I think Elvis’s voice, if he were alive, would sound different too.

Can u compare "young Elvis" vibrato to elder "Elvis" to detect change over time???

If there ever was a “perfect” voice, Elvis Presley had it. He was the greatest and I doubt anyone will ever match him with all his qualities, especially his voice and mannerisms.

No impersonator ever sounds like Elvis. He was one of a kind. There will never be another Elvis. Loved Elvis.❤

I always love your videos and assessments. Thank You for this one. We all WANT SO MUCH to wish Elvis had lived longer and we’d love to find him alive and well, but unfortunately for those of us left behind, we are losing so many from this earthly home. Hoping we’ll see them all some day in heaven 🙏

My only thought about Bob's vibrato is that he is a bit elderly. And even my vibrato has changed since I have aged. It's hard to compare with the differences of their age.

This pastor Bob says he was born Bob and he’ll die as Bob. However, I sat through about half of the three hour documentary of Bob, it was very compelling with facial overlays, body ticks, facial expressions, left arm movements. Bob is singing as a late 70 or 80 year old man versus an Elvis of decades ago. So, I really don’t know what’s true. Did Elvis “die” to his entire old way of life and get a new identity devoted to the Lord? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Elvis would be 89 years old if he was still alive.

The difference is very clear to me and I am no expert but I AM a huge Elvis fan, have been since I was about 4yrs old at Primary school, now 57yrs and I still listen to him daily in my gym when training.
NO-ONE comes close.
