Stretching after your Jiu-Jitsu or any martial arts trainings is so vital for your health, recovery and improvement in the art. Yoga has helped my Jiu-Jitsu game tremendously. Yoga can be done on its own but also in combination with literally any sport. Especially martial arts like wrestling, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), grappling and yoga go really well together. It is like peanut butter and jelly!

The previous Jiu-Jitsu stretching routine was a bit longer and thorough. This one is shorter and for you to follow-along. Hopefully you find this helpful and can take what you need so that you can stretch after every training for 5-10 minutes. That is really all you need. This yoga class can also be done if you do not train martial arts and is for beginner as well as experienced practitioners alike.

Man, I spend 8 hrs on a desk by the end of the day my hips are so tight. This yoga routine has helped me a lot, I do it before bed and I actually rest. THANK YOU!

just bought a yoga mat when I found your channel, absolutely love it, your vidoes are calming, very informative, simple yet concise, and just overall a pleasure to watch and listen to. You may not have a ton of subscribers and that is mainly due to the fact that jiu jitsu and yoga aren't very popular in the youtube community, and by adding both of em you reduce your reach to the youtube audience even further so. However, I'm pretty sure the audience you were able to obtain truly appreciates your effort as there aren't many youtubers out there doing what you do.

Started BJJ last week, just finished my 3rd class today and I have to admit that my back is killing me:) gotta incorporate this into my routine fr, thanks brother. Edit:could not sleep so decided to do this and I feel much better, just the last move kinda felt too extreme couldn’t bend forward and down :)

I needed to stop training BJJ due to injuries but this stretching works great after orange theory classes (HIIT) training.

Can I my body stay safe with this routine? I've just started bjj and some days I feel sore after class. I like the sport, but I also appreciate doing other things in my life. I plan to train twice a week.
Will Bjj ruin my body when I am old (I am 18 now) even if I do these routines often?
I mean, can I stay safe and active with BJJ?
