Only a fool would buy that coffee for those prices.

When I worked there over 10 years ago, it was a job for part time students, people who had another job, or just used the job as a temporary income.

We were grateful for what we got and if it wasn’t enough money we looked for another job or doubled up on jobs.

We didn’t expect it to be a living wage, unless you were a store manager or district manager.

64% pay raise. These liberals are asking too much to make coffee.

If I get a 64% raise my annual pay as a Clinical Engineer will be a $133k/yr. That is not including my On-Call schedule and Time and a half when I have to clock in for an emergency.

Making coffee is no emergency.

Of course they returned to work. They need money to live and found out unions only care about receiving the dues! They found out even if your not working you STILL have to pay union dues.

Starbucks should be thankful they lasted this long. If they piss off the customers they do have, we may not be seeing Starbucks in 2025. Times are tough for everyone and customer service needs to be brought back to the forefront with every industry. Have pride man/woman. ✌️🙏🎄🇺🇸

What happened you realized that you were overpaid the entire time? I vote to lower your wages to actual minimim wage. You have an easy job

They can strike. There are other shops. Lost revenue = store will close.
Don't make a career out of unskilled labor. I worked 8-5 then studied till 10pm every day so I can go back to a professional school.

No body needs coffee. These workers are pathetic. Work harder if you want better.

They probably lost 25 percent of the customers from this nonsense. Just make the coffee, that’s all you gotta do

I couldn't do that job. All the labor strikes over the past few years are a symptom of the fact that the cost of living is off the rails.

They already get paid at least $20 an hr to pour a cup of coffee.

People in the fields get way lower & the work is harder

63% wage raise will simply result in store closures of low performing stores and increased menu price.
Soon the consumer will stop paying high prices.

Starbucks is old hat and too expensive for most. The trendy crowd will move on and someone new will do it better 😅

These Baristas are a Hysterical! The price for a coffee at Starbucks is at $5.00....! Unionizing it would make it $15 a cup. No one will go and they will lose their jobs😂😂😂😂😂💯

They really feel like they did something with all that nonsense.

They might get some respect if they actually learn to make the drinks according to corporate guidelines consistently. Wear a uniform, not your dirty street clothes and use good sanitation measures.
