Music Management for DJs - Volume 2 - Cutting the cord. In this video, I share my progress in just two days of completely cleaning out and up my music library. Thanks to Crate Hackers, Rekord Cloud, and some duplicate removal software, I have been able to remove of 80,000+ tracks that were dead weight in my music collection. Yes, I went from 145,000+ songs to just about 67,000 songs in just two days, by removing duplicate files, and using the tools shared in this video. This is video 2 in my music management video series where I share with you how I am doing it, the tools I am using, and status, thoughts, and perspective along the way.

For some perspective, at most events of about 6 hours, I estimate I play about 200 songs (maybe even less, 150 or so?). I like the idea of starting with the "diamonds" folder of your most treasured songs mentioned in the music management vol 1 video.

Great video.. so grateful to be following along.. Music organization and updating to new OS, are the 2 of the DJs worst nightmare. 😆😆.
My HD is flooded, and there music, in a ton of diff folders.. so stupid the way I have it. I feel like all I need is 1 DJ music folder on my desktop. And then do all my organizing inside SERATO... is this what your doing? Or do you still have folders inside folders ?

Thanks for the video & info definitely something I have to do myself. With well over 10 tb of music & videos I am way overdue for some thing like this lol
I blew thru a 4 tb hard drive within just a matter of months. I think that's bc I belong to so many sites, I've since dropped down to 3 main sites that I am using so hopefully this 10 tb hard drive i bought won't fill up as quickly.
