Is the NEW Blue Trail good? | MTB Cannock Chase

The new blue trail opened last week after many months of work. Let's give it a go.

I originally thought this trail was an optional section for the start of Follow the Dog, but turns out it's an entirely new, relatively short trail.

I use it as a warmup, lovely little trail. Superb for beginners, and still great fun as a little flow trail for intermediate riders.

I did the Perry trail for the first time yesterday and ended up doing 2 laps because of the signage at the end. Still great fun!

I went two days ago and the sign posts are still confusing. Started it again and got to the bridge before I realised (granted not that far in but still).
But it’s still a awesome trail for someone who’s new to biking like I am. Definitely going again when I get the time (it’s a hour and half away from me as I’m right next to Sherwood Pines bike trails what are also decent)

Was here today, did this trail twice. That berm at 4:15 kept catching me out, it’s much steeper in person lol

Great vid. Not visited yet but will do this week. I’ve got an Apollo MTB 27.5 wheel. Upgraded the brakes to hydrolic and changed the forks to Suntour XCR32 with lockout and some adjustment to preload but no rebound adjustment. Would this be a suitable bike for blue trails at Cannock? Subbed.

I just don’t get the rock garden at the start of the red trail on Follow The Dog, a gate keeper perhaps?

Hoping to take my boy on it soon as he's now onto.a bigger bike. Usually you end up with people on E Bikes or extremely competent bikers behind whinging about kids on the course.

Got to learn somewhere. 🤷‍♂️
