Battery Hooked Up Backwards. Transfer Switch Not Working. Convertor Not Charging The Battery.

What happens when you hook up the battery in your RV backwards? This customer installed a new battery, but he hooked it up backwards. Now the automatic transfer switch does not work and the convertor is not charging the battery. What did we find?

I really dont like all that water in such close proximity to voltage - I know they are short on space to work with in a trailer but there has to be a better way...

So I changed my converter and it's not charging my battery.

Did I miss something or did you miss the ground wire to the new converter?

Did the new converter have the same spec's as the old one(was the new one an upgrade?).
