Dream's Merch is not 'Terrible'

Dream's Merch is not Terrible. Dream is not Greedy. Dream's merch is basically the same as other youtubers merch.

So about a week ago while Dream was under fire for the Minecraft 1.16 Speedrunning Scandal, Dream also got into hot water for his merch. In my opinion, Dream's merch is basically the same as other youtubers merch, and I don't understand the controversy.

i actually enjoyed his merch even before he revamped his merch store. I've heard complains from other people saying that the merch is ugly and it's just his face but, the quality is pretty good, good as the unus annus, pewdiepie and tøp merch I've had in my possession in the past. i know much people don't enjoy the simplicity of dreams merch but, its refreshing.

is dreams merch expensive: yes

is dreams merch “terrible” : not at all

GOOD merch is alway ‘expensive’ you are paying for the quality. the design is definitely up to you to decide what u don’t like or what you do like BUT dreams merch isn’t going to be over the top as dreams branding is simple, his youtube channel design is simple so of course the merch isn’t going to be detailed.

for the average person yes of course a £40 hoodie is quite expensive but that doesn’t make the merch bad. like youtuber merch is always really expensive. if you do not like the design, if you think this is overpriced. then don’t buy it.

I actually quite like the merch designs, it's simple and neat and it works well considering his branding. I'd honestly prefer that than it having lot of colors and elements. You don't need complicated or colorful designs to create good merch, simplicity is great too

They all say that it’s overpriced for a smile but here’s my say:

It’s actually pretty cheap for how well made and comfortable it is ( yes I’ve bought it before )

The smile is his brand, what else is he gonna do?

Not everyone likes complex hoodies, so this is personally a good choice for a simple one

Most of the time when someone buys merch it is to support the creator, that’s the reason merch is a thing lol
