Y'all haven't lived until you've seen him perform this live. Its so raw and full of emotion! I was in awe! His vocals are insane. I'm low-key disappointed by this recording because that rawness and growliness isn't really transferred (and there is a LOT of echoing or whatever that effect is called lol) but I'm still gonna have it on repeat to relive that moment

As much as I love the original, after seeing this show live, this version makes sooo much sense. This combined with the previous scene really prove that Christian has delved into jealousy and anger, which for this version I thought made a lot of sense, and god the visuals really do drive it home 😭😭😭

I like the small addition of « help me Im holding on for dear life » from Chandelier. I find it helps with the tension. Also Aaron Tveits voice went off and it sounds so vulnerable and angry and upset in this song.

Saw it in New York a couple weeks ago and it is mind blowing on stage. They're across the stage and shes slowly walking towards the Duke with this red dress. Absolutely astonishing

It's different from the movie version, but I kind of love pulling in the "put on the red light" from the original Police version because it kinda helps it sound like he's going a bit crazy. And DAMN THE VIOLIN!! I can only imagine how awesome the dancing is!

OH MY GOD. @ 2:39 - 2:57 gives me chills every time. So much emotion. Love this song and musical. It’s a complete twist to the movie but amazing in its own way!!! I absolutely need to make another trip to New York to see this!!!
