You may experience loss of power, no acceleration, check engine light blinking. This is a limp mode and must be diagnose immediately. You may have following codes:
P0300 - random misfire
P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304

Excellent video, thank you very much. My 2019 Mazda 3 suddenly started doing exactly this while I was accelerating on the freeway, along with the "Dynamic stability control malfunction" error message. The previous day I had just gotten the injectors cleaned at the service center, along with an oil change and tire rotation/balance. Just routine maintenance - nothing was wrong. It's back at the shop now, and I'm trying to decide whether this is just a coincidence, or whether I should suspect either incompetence or sabotage.

If anyone reading this has any input, I'm happy to hear it. I'll try to remember to come back with an update later today.

Thanks for the video, i have the same problem with the SCBS Check engine light, skid etc. Mine is a 2.2 2015 diesel manual, should i clean the EGR or is it a Injector or sensor problem? Hope it reaches out to you.

I have this exact same problem. Same lights and car not being able to accelerate past 20 mph. I’ll try swapping out the spark plugs tomorrow. Hopefully that fixes it

Hi great video. I have misfire at 1200rpm 2nd gear same model. Changed plugs..checked coils..ran injector cleaner through engine..cleaned maf...cleaned throttle body...changed air filter..no codes but still misfiring. What do you think? ❤❤❤

I had same problem we tried everything it didnt help but in the end i decide to replace battery with ne one and problems gone forever, because some mwkaniks didnt know this even theyvhave check the battery power they couldnt recognize the weaknes of it. And yess problem was exactly on battery: abs system error. Engine ectr and plus engine misfire had to all other problems frequently it shows on screen but in that day i changed battery all gone instantly I swear 😊

Hi! I saw your video, very helpful btw. I have a similar problem and would appreciate your advice.

I have a Mazda 2 Skyactiv 2016 with the check engine light on. The first fault code was a Cylinder 4 Misfire and my mechanic changed the spark plugs (although I have never felt the engine miss). After this we had the P0421 fault code, and my mechanic suggested that we should change the catalytic converter.

However, another IMPORTANT thing to point out is that during this time I was noticing that the oil level was constantly increasing. I assume that this was increasing because of fuel flowing past the piston into the crank case and mixing with the engine oil.

Do you think that this fault code would be fixed by changing the coils? Or do you think that the catalytic converter needs to be changed as well ? Thank you for your help 😊

Did you use OEM or aftermarket parts? I have a p0302 code. Hoping replacing the coil pack fixes the issue.

I have the same exact issue with my Mazda and the same exact lights on … I figured it will be something with the spark plugs because they told me to fix it at 100, 000 miles and I never did 🤦🏾‍♀️

I have the same car with the same issue, same lights, going into limp mode but no codes show up when plugged in, I noticed my negative terminal was loose so i tightened it and that cleared the code and it’s driving normal now but could that have been causing it? Or should I just change all coils?

I have a 2010 mazda 3 . 2.0 4cy. I got A P0304 code I replaced the coil pack for 4 in spark plug for a. Code still persist. When running the engine I unplugged coilpax 1 through 4. 1 through 2 had a reaction. Although unplugging coil packs 3 and 4 while the engine is running had no effect at all. Even after changing the coil pack and spark plug in 4
