Man. What a mother has to do. She was helplessly crying and yet when she heard her son she just forgot about herself and went to comfort him.

Game of thrones had such a different vibe in the early seasons. It felt like an entirely different show...

I'll never forget this scene...how she walked with her head up and with pride among their soldiers. How she standed strong for her son and not showing weakness in front of him.

"They have your sisters. We have to get the girls back"

I like how despite everything, this eventually came true.

Robb in season 8: "To be honest, I never really cared for my father, headless or otherwise."

That is what Ned Stark must have felt like when the Mad King killed his Brother and Father.

This is why Robb is and always will be my favorite. You truly watched him go through so much. You saw the emotion of his father dying, his sisters captured, his victories in battle, he fell in love, was to become a father, and then you get to watch his face as he was robbed of it in an instant. All of it portrayed beautifully by Richard Madden.

“And then we will kill them all” such a chilling line delivered so coldly. Sends shivers down my spine. You think she’s just gonna say they need to get Arya and Sansa. But then reaffirms Robb that she wants them all dead too. Just great

Michelle Fairly and Richard Madden truly were the diamonds on this show.

It’s horrifying to remember that Robb is canonically a teenager. He was truly just a boy, and he lost his father brutally and was thrown into a war. Tragic, really.

"you've ruined your sword" the only words a grieving mother could muster to her grieving boy. ugh so well done.

"You've ruined your sword"
"But, they kill..."
"Fuck that, look at your sword, Robb!"

Fucking tragic. A wife whose just lost her husband. A son whose just lost his father. This whole series has been a damn masterpiece.

What also gets me is Ned kept Jon’s parentage a secret even from his wife, took his secret to the grave and in the end it was for nothing.

Lot's of people like to think Robb was an adult, a might war commander. This scene shows you, that he is no adult. He is only 16 or 17, younger in the books. It shows he's still a boy.

Michelle Fairley was the absolute best talent that ever graced this show, followed by Stephen Dillane (Stannis) and Charles Dance (Tywin). She was so sublime. Pisses me off she never even got nominated for an Emmy, what a crime. A big part of the show died for me when Catelyn and Robb died. Loved them both and their story. Wish the Starks didn't have it so hard.
