Hello, I just wanted to tell you that you can change retroarch's style back to the old one (This is optional of course). Just go to settings, then drivers, then go to menu and select xmb instead of ozone. Then exit out of retroarch and open it again. Hope this helps!

You saved my life, I wanted to put the "fast forward" button on the control but I wasn't going to, but looking at your video I saw that I could put the control with it being on port 1, I was trying the second one but it wasn't going to work. My goal was to put a fast forward button on the keyboard and another on the controller

I am using an X Arcade controller. Works great but cannot figure out how to remap the buttons. For example I just want to change a couple buttons on the X Arcade when playing Genesis games.

Im using a PS4 controller but the buttons don't work according to my set bindings in the quick menu, they assign themselves to different buttons instead without showing it. The Z Trigger for Mupen64 is set to L2 in bindings for example but only works when you press "down" on the right thumbstick - among other messed up button combos

Any idea what's going on with this thing? It's aggitating the hell out of me lol

Xbox one controller just stopped working all of a sudden. In the menus and games, it recognizes when i try to map the buttons but wont navigate the menu or work in game. Any suggestions?

Do you know why my ps4 controller randomly decided that every button input also corresponds to a keyboard key, meaning when I press circle in game it also registers that as space bar which defaults as fast forward hot key? How can I make the mappings for the buttons just one Input rather than two.

My 8bitdo SN30 cannot seem to remember any hotkey configurations. It always does the wrong inputs even after updating controller profiles.

so if you screw it all up, how do you start over/reset? Like how do I reset as if the controller I'm plugging is being plugged in for the first time.

What if you accidently changed something over the confirm button? Now I can't get back in (because I have no confirm button) to reset it. Is there a workaround?

I just wanna set up L2 as fast forward and r2 as turbo trigger to be held with button i want turbo

Does RetroArch recognize what USB port i have each controller plugged into?

If so can i have 2 different controller setups for each port w/out one hindering or changing the other?

My grandson also comes over to play and he has his own preferences, so all i have to do is take my 360 controller out of my USB port 1? And put it into usb port 2? and he will be good to go m once we set his preference up there? And that won't change my port 1 settings when he goes home and i put the controller back into my port?

Another thing is i read a guide b4 finding you and have my 360 controller near perfect, except maybe one mistake

All games play perfect, except when playing "Dragons Lair 3D" .i can do everything but walk(LOL)

The game options say "L" is to walk, but i have no idea what that translates to on my 360 controller, so i hit any and all buttons, but it does not get me walking

The error i may have made was when reading how to set controller up, when i was told to assign a button by hitting "back button", i had no idea what button that is, so i guessed "B", but i already chose "B" for another setting

Is that why i cant move/walk in "Dragons Lair 3D"

I also subbed in bro
