I have made some good progress in the past month on Z2 such as improving my pace by almost a minute with the same target HR mid Z2. But recently I noticed that during warm up, usually Z1 for 1K my HR is overshooting to Z2 and eventually my whole run will be slower than normal with same HR of 136. This has happened the last 3 days, did not change anything from where I started, same route, same uphill warm up, same sleep pattern, same nutrition. I was sick last week but I kept running where I did my PBs, but now where I all fine my performance on Z2 is declining. Any thoughts and suggestions? I thought it could be weather were recently temperature has dropped but I never mind this things before…
