You rate the adata unit at 440 Gb/sec. It is actually 440 Mb/sec, a thousand times slower.

not really up to date video... as an example the SanDisk extreme Pro has transfer speeds available up 2000 mb/s the 500mb/s version is about 4 years old if not more... 😕

All of my external SSDs are SSDs or HDDs that were used in my old PCs. No question about what is "in there." I don't much care about how fast it is.

The Sandisk extreme has given me no issues whilst gaming and it handles things fine. I recommend it. My only negative about it is the usb dongle sticks out and could damage your port if you accidentally apply downward pressure to it.

just get a normal 1tb ssd for like 50 bucks ( most is 60 bucks ) and install it, most laptops make it easy to install extra ram and storage.

I have a my 1TB my passport *( was wondering why it was so cheap for a 1TB drive others were far more expensive )* they have data rot issues and random corruption errors besides that for short term there great but for long term storage no good

Hello, I am having an issue, maybe you can help me with. I have a T5 Samsung 2tb external drive, It works on every one of my computers windows 7, MAC, etc. However, when I connect it to my windows 10 it crashes the entire system. It makes all USB un-operational. I am forced to go into the backdoor of the computer to get it back up again, it is a huge process. As I am a man of experimentation I did this several times to see if the drive would eventually work. Nope, every time it crashes the system. Have you ever heard of this? Can you recommend any solutions? Do you think an upgrade to windows 11 would solve it? I can't reach SAMSUNG for my life. Thank you for your time... Nio

PS: I have done every troubleshooting thing I can think of. The computer just will not accept the drive. When I go into device manager the drive is acknowledged but there is an exclamation point next to it. Update drivers, all that doesn't work
