I think people don't get why "Cadia Stands" is so important. Cadia was a planet, sure, but it was the stomping ground of the greatest armies of the Imperium and Chaos, thirteen times. Catachan may be deadly, and other regiments have lost planets too, but it was only on Cadia where you were born to serve. Everyone served. Everyone held the line against the most terrible of the enemies of humanity over and over again.
When Cadia was destroyed, the people persevered on. Not just because they're stubborn. Or determined. Which they are. It's because, I believe, that when Cadia died every Cadian realized, as they saw las-flashes among every broken kasr and mountain, that Cadia is not a planet. Cadia is a people. Cadia will never break again. Because so long as one olive-green lasgun remains firing, so long as one person remains defiant in the stars, Cadia stands.

I guess you could say, you're planet is everywhere.

You know rewatching this scene, I can't help but think of the surviving Cadians as the human version of the Eldar from Craftworld Biel-Tan. Think about it...

1). The Cadians lost their home world Cadia, and the Biel-Tan Eldar lost their Craftworld.

2). Even though they both lost their world/Craftworld their still kick'n and very much willing to give the rest of the galaxy black eyes.

3). Now that their world/Craftworld is destroyed their now aiding their factions cause simultaneously than before. Craftworld Biel-Tan is maintaining maiden worlds all at the same time, and the Surviving Cadians are getting vengeance and aiding the Imperium by fighting on multiple battlefronts all at the same time.

I'm not the only one who thought of this right?
