Loving all of these. Hope there's some videos with deep dives into some of these, like the sneaky storage, for inspiration and ideas.

I 100% agree with reducing open concept.

I agree with the closed space, with alot more people are working from home and need to be able to close a door or two 😅

Out of all of these, I am so hyped that we are moving away from open plan. I have always *hated* open plan and when I talked about closing up my house more, people thought I was crazy.

Thank God people are finally leaving the open concept behind! Love my walls and halls! So many reasons to bring back separate spaces!

I love rooms and walls. I get open concept living but I love cleaning my kitchen at the end of the day and closing the door. I love that I can have people over and there are parts of my house that can still have some privacy-not everything has to be on display.

Thank God for more closed spaces. Our home is from the 90s and has a ✨wall✨ for a tiny buffer from kitchen to living - and I ❤it so much!

I did color drenching with my beloved Lilac color. I could never endure a Home Life devoid of color. It is quite pleasing to see open concepts being pushed less. I grew up in an open concept Home and detested it. I recently purchased a classic 1945 Colonial Revival home full of walls and closing doors 🚪 It was my dream!

I’m happy to see that closed spaces aret once again becoming more popular. I think our transition to working from home has encouraged the need and desire for this.❤

I think some open, connected spaces works. But I don't love having an open kitchen. I'd be happy to take out the wall between my living room and office and make a larger space there. But I don't want everyone watching me cook or having to make my kitchen perfect before guests come over.

I love my sneaky storage. Living in a very small space it is great to design between the stud options.

Love all the COLOR! I’m eclectic in my home style and rarely can decide on just a few colors for a space. Excited to see larger color palettes pulled together tastefully! 💗💚💙

Loving the color and texture. The return of classic boho.

I’m here for less open design! I think mid century housing had it right, open doorways, sometimes extra wide openings, & passthroughs and serving hatches, sometimes closeable, and kitchen peninsulas or islands, but all situated in actual walls so spaces were accessible to each other but defined.

I’m building in two months, traditional center hall colonial and I’m so excited that the more traditional styles are coming back (not that it would dissuade me but I’m a little tired of being called old-fashioned 😂).

I’ve been color drenching since 2001. 😆 I have always loved the look.

So glad colour is making a comeback. I painted my home, in Victoria BC which has damp dreary winters, golden yellow for public spaces with an orange kitchen.

I love the “look” of colour drenching but unfortunately my brain can’t live in it.
