I didn't enjoy this game, and I played it with more than 2 (4 players if I recall correctly). I found it a very dry exercise in putting cubes on a thing, waiting for your opponents to put cubes on a thing, then doing it over again. I personally really didn't care for the way that the theme was applied to the game - there was no mechanical connection (in the gaming sense) between the inventors and the inventions, instead there was just a huge ton of biography sitting entirely separately from the game itself. The game seemed to boil down to "who got frozen out from the last card the least" which really wasn't much fun. Perhaps this demonstrates that area control is not my cup of tea ;)

well I must say your reviews are becoming better nuanced. Not that overhyped super stoked stuff anymore but instead articulated arguments, which many appreciate more.
