Nietzsche had a complicated relationship with romanticism. Especially after the birth of tragedy, he was much more fond of French classicism (which opposed romanticism), in the lines of Montaigne, and other moralist such as Rochefoucault, La Bruyère. I suggest to read those authors, as they write similarly to Nietzsche.
