GIS Lesson 2 3 (prep): Downloading data with the QuickOSM plugin

In this preparation step we will download additional data from Openstreetmap to get some information about roads and buildings.

Hi Riccardo, thank you for this tutorial I have missed it before, that is why I had some questions about the data sets. This is very useful thank you for this tutorial. I had trouble downloading bigger datasets. I wanted to create a map of Europe and I was unable to download such a big query of boundaries? Is it possible to download it from OSM. Now I just look for data on Eurostat. Generally, I think that the topic on sourcing proper data would be very beneficial to amateur enthusiasts like me. I would also appreciate explanation or some guide on how to add new map sources to the Quikckmap services plugin and licences of these sources. I very appreciate your work, from my experience teaching the luck of feedback and interaction is quite frustrating. So I will try to comment on your videos as much as is reasonable, exactly how I would imagine good student would behave. All that as my thanks to you for making these.
