Mario Bald

This is the saddest video I've ever made.

An explanation, I was watching a streamer named @Elajjaz as he played Final Fantasy XVI. At one point, his chat started calling him bald, even though he has plenty of hair. One chatter in particular took this very hard. 'NOOO!' they typed. 'MY STREAMER IS BALDING NOOOO'. To this chatter, it was like he was dying. This was very poignant, and stuck with me. Later I read the post from Supper Mario Broth about Mario having weird bald sprites and it hit me. Mario, baldness, FFXVI, sadness... I wanted to combine them all. This is the result.

The intent of this video is NOT to make fun of people that are bald or balding.

As an 18 year old who is dealing with an extreme alopecia, this hits hard

It's quite sad because we as mammals mostly rely our confidence in some sort of attractive and healthy looking features, and in some cases masculinity as feminity in those particular attractive features can show of the most, imagine a lion without its mans, a peacock without its beautiful feathers. Losing that specific characteristic that living beings are born with and grow with it, losing it represents as much as being unhealthy, sick and overall defective if you compare yourself to the others individuals who aren't struggling with this and show no insecurities and problems at all, questioning why this has to happen specifically to you, it really feels like a fuck you in particular kinda situation.
