One of the most divisive figures in 20th century History is Vladimir Lenin. He rose from humble beginnings to become the leader of the Bolshevik Revolution, and helped to overthrow the last Tsars of Russia. When Lenin became the leader of the Soviet Union, he was the most powerful man in the land, and he launched the communist shift inside of the USSR. But throughout his life he suffered from an assassination attempt in which a woman fired two bullets into him, that remained inside him for a long time.

But in his final years, Vladimir Lenin despite being in his 50s became rather ill and sick. He suffered from having a number of strokes, and it's likely that the effects of war and the Russian Revolution had a significant effect on his health and lifestyle. After suffering a number of strokes, it looked like Lenin would recover but in January 1924 he fell into a coma and then died. He had a huge funeral, but today his body still can be seen lying in Lenin's Mausoleum almost 100 years since he died. Today he's seen by some as a champion of the working class, but others see him as a dictator who's control oversaw the executions of around 200,000 people during The Red Terror.

His death was only the beginning of his suffering.

All these "champions of the working class" types always die living in mansions catered to by servants 😂

Hope it hurt. He started up a police state more brutal on its own non-Jewish people than even Nazi Germany. As the man himself said "Every good Russian is a Chekist". (The Cheka was the first of several benevolent state police entities which went on through OGPU, NKVD, KGB, and eventually todays' FSB). Back in the days of the Tsar, you could walk back to Russia if you were exiled to Siberia (Stalin did more than once). You didn't walk out of the GULAG.
The people who say the wonderful Soviet experiment was betrayed by Stalin don't know their Lenin.

Lenin was suffering from syphilis at the time he lived in Poronin (small town in Poland) in 1913.
The evidence of that is a prescription issued to Lenin by a local doctor for a medication commonly prescribed in those days to treat syphilis.
(It was treatable but not curable disease until the discovery of penicillin, many years after Lenin’s death)

That prescription was on display in a local museum for many years.
A group of pharmacists visited the museum, spotted a prescription and deciphered it out of professional curiosity.
Unfortunately they informed the museum staff about their discovery and the prescription was removed from the exhibit.
The museum was closed in 1990 after the fall of communism in Poland.

The blood of the Romanovs and millions of others is on this man’s hands. What he suffered at the end is NOTHING to how he is spending eternity.

The Tsars rule was bad ..but Lenin's rule was worse ...he admired the British parliament but once said how can you have a government without a firing squad ....

He would rejoice when word was brought to him of the murder/deaths of Orthodox priests. He caused the deaths of untold numbers of people, bringing death, destruction, and, evil to Russia that took many years to begin to recapture the true spirit and heritage of Mother Russia. I shed not a tear for his painful death and I shall not offer a prayer on his behalf for he was an evil monster who nearly destroyed Russia and all that was noble about that proud people rooted so strongly in their Holy Orthodox faith.

There was a hereditary factor, too. His father died from a stroke, in his 50's, and one of Lenins sisters also died, from the same cause.

This is an individual who I personally have no respect for! His ideology is the antithesis of moral goodness, etc.
His death is no loss for the world!

Lenin: “Hey, tell whoever’s in charge of giving people jobs not to let that jerk Stalin become the next leader. By the way. Who did I put in charge of giving people jobs?”

Aid: “That would be Stalin, sir.”

Lenin: “. . . . . Uuuh ☠️”

Although he was the de facto ruler of the Soviet Union/Russia, I don't think Lenin was ever the "Head of State".

If true communism was easier to create, almost all of this could’ve been avoided, but communism is like a dream when you try to actually do it. When you are forced to do something to achieve something else, your own flesh wants to do it again.

Everything he did to other Russians, all the misery caused, it’s no surprise that he died in extreme pain and disability.
