Hell yes !! Sister died from bipolar, brother diagnosed bipolar and schizophrenic, another sister bipolar, I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia in my 20’s. Wasn’t told it was hereditary so none else was checked . When I found out later my brother and sister were checked and had it too . Pernicious anaemia untreated can result in bipolar diagnosis. My sister might still be here today, if her doctor didn’t just hand her a fistful of drugs

I had a massive tumor on my adrenal gland that was causing my symptoms! Only after I collapsed, were doctors forced to find the cause of my HBP, kidney disease, diabetes and mood disorder. I am now weaning off 5 medications. 😅

I had malaise and fatigue. Couldn't get off the couch. Was treated for depression for years. Turns out it was an inner ear problem giving me liw level nausea every time I moved my head. Get tested folks!

My doctor broke HIPAA and told me my mother was bipolar. She had PTSD.

I was really messed on a benzo. Because I'm adopted and didn't know anything about my bio parents, they used that as an excuse for my mental health issues. I didnt know any better at the time. After my daughter was born, I wanted to try and located them but never did because I thought why introduce some messed up people into my life. I'm sad about that now.

Diabetic low blood sugar also contributes to mental Health... Check to make sure you're not a diabetic before going on psychiatric meds...sugar give it up.

If he really cared about people, he would not be charging the huge sums he charges, when the information is available free, and written by people who really did want to help people.

Don’t you know that a CT or just being on a psych med can cause some of these issues? I can’t recommend you any longer.

The problem with taking patients "off their meds" is the not so simple task of weaning them off in such a manner as to not jeopardize their healthy lifestyle (diet, exercise, socialization (family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, communities), livelihood, and quite debilitating 🎉withdrawals symptoms having to be endured could be just as determination to the patients overall well being without proper time to discuss a reasonable time frame to wean off gradually over a period of days, weeks, or perhaps evens months at a time in some cases of high physiciocgical and psychological habit forming drugs. So yeah, to play devils advocate, it's like your saying take away American's 2nd ammendright to bear arms for their own safety as if they don't know what's in their best interest.
Got me it was the posh tone of voice and the youthfulness of a physician who may only be able to speak from a limited scope of a few years of treating patients as opposed those seasoned veterans with decades of experience int he field and a bit more leeway in terms of the same approach towards either allowing, enabling? Cotinuing/discontinued the current treatment recommendations for the patient.😊
