SIBO can be properly diagnosed & when i worked in GI its typically present in those with diabetes or those with a high simple sugar diet. Its rare while IBS is common.

"IBS" can be caused by so many things, it's like calling something "Fever Syndrome". SIBO can cause it, a nuked microbiome can cause it, food sensitivities can cause it, and so on and so on. Take care of your gut health, which is a myriad of things to keep track of unfortunately, including vitamin D, an important regulator of the gut microbiome, and your "IBS" will likely be resolved, assuming you don't have a permanent problem underlying the condition.

I've had IBS most of my life! I have been to many doctors with little, or no relief! IBS is what I call a "throw down disease"! Doctors have little or no idea of what is going on so I have taken matters into my own hands!
Here is what I have found:
1) There is a link between anxiety and gut issues! (anti anxiety drugs seem to help)!
2) Probiotics definitely seem to help more than anything else (I take massive doses)!

first I had dysfunctional digestion, then I developed sibo most likely due to that. So even sibo isn't the root cause.

I seriously talked to my GP today and they haven't even heard of asked for a breath and or stool test and asked if they could test for SIBO and they had to Google it... Smh

I went from starting with severe insomnia, to high cortisol, combined with the lack of months of sleep. Cortosol, then not turning off out of control. Brought me to distrnded stomach issues. What they call Cushings Syndrome. And Addisans syndrome. Edema issues out of control. Where generally im usually healthy & went from tolerating many foods. To a small portion of something I like, an autoimmune problem reaction. Sick of the thought how much they've altered & poisoned the food, water, air. And the Industry they claim to be Health Care!!

No shade to people going through this, but im curious how many people wouldn't want the solution as here in Canada it gives them a free pass to spend half their work day in the toilet. I had undiagnosed celiac, which ruined my life for years so I'm not callous to those who are really suffering. It's the shisters I'm referring to only.

Started with h pylori I got so bloated. My stomach was pushed up getting a 2cm hiatal hernia. I just don’t know how to correct the hiatal hernia, I have gastritis don’t want to get a surgery.
