Thanks for breaking my heart and helping me.
I also came out to my dad last month. He reacted in a most terrifying way. Now after a few weeks we are starting to warm up to each other a bit. Things are still tense and I’d love to see him change in to the dad I need and saw in this video. Love is important for all of us and so is support. I hope that children out there who are also struggling will find their love and support not only because it is Christmas but because they deserve it.

Well, I am conservative, yet I fully endorse this film. No one CHOOSES to be straight..or gay...or bi.

I came out to my father because I was going to be at the pride festival he was leading the protests against, with my boyfriend. I was 20. He was a minister. I'm really proud to say that today, he's one of the leading advocates for gay inclusion in the church in the very conservative town I grew up in.

I am very seldom moved to tears. This did it though.
Thank you Kodak.

So beautiful - and I'm crying. I knew I always loved Kodak.

I swore to myself that despite the comments etc, I was not going to cry. I lasted until almost the end. Then the tears began to flow. And still are flowing. To capture so many conflicting emotions in such a short film -- so powerful, so lovely, and just so beautiful.

Gays and lesbians who find support and acceptance from their family have no idea how lucky they are. I gave up hope on my family a long time ago. Great clip Kodak! Very touching.

Did I have to ALMOST cry on Christmas Eve?

touched my heart ... shows that talking about "issues" is not everything ... real acceptance is what all of us need.

What a painfully beautiful message. It can't be easy for any parent to find out. It's how they choose to accept it (if they ever do) that made this so touching. Well done Kodak. Much respect to the film maker.

There have been many "Kodak moments" through the years, but this is maybe the first that I totally felt the emotional impact. Thank you for understanding that we are people, too.
