I am a straight man married to a straight woman. I am her husband and she is my wife. I do not go into or share the bathroom with my wife unless I am invited by her. So why should I accept a random guy sharing the bathroom with my wife (or daughter)? It's really sad this is even an issue.

Several years ago we were staying with family. I was taking a shower and the bathroom door opened. One of the men in the family (not my husband or one of my sons) needed to use the bathroom and he just walked in and stood at the toilet. He figured that we were family and I was behind a shower curtain, so what was the big deal? I grew up an only child and I was so shocked by this that I just stood there under the water while he went to the bathroom and chatted to me. He left and I just stood there shaking for like 20 minutes. It took me a while to figure out why. I was raised by conservative parents and the only man who saw me naked was the one I was married to. I felt violated. He didn't ask, he just came in like he owned the space. He didn't do anything to me, but it rattled me anyway. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I never want to feel like that again.

I live in Tennessee. Me and my buddies were hanging out at our local bar a trans tried to enter the woman bathroom there. All it took was for one of us to say don't you dare. No real action required.
