Did AI Detect 8 Signals From Aliens?

An AI trained to hunt for techno-signatures from intelligent alien life found 8 interesting signals on its first deployment

SETI researchers have recently incorporated an artificial intelligence into their search efforts, making it easier to sift through the massive amounts of data chat was collected by the telescopes. And it seems that this new approach is paying off!

The AI system flagged 20,000 signals of interest from which 8 seem to be new radio signals that could potentially be signs of intelligent life. While it's too early to say whether these signals are indeed from extraterrestrial civilizations, they are certainly intriguing and warrant further investigation.

This development is a significant step forward in the search for intelligent life beyond our planet. With the help of AI, we are now able to analyze data more efficiently and potentially detect signals that we may have missed in the past. Who knows what other discoveries await us in the vast expanse of the universe?

I can just randomly imagine an alien going over like a signal and something and saying "Important announcement" 5 minutes of silence, then breaking through the room where the people are in hearing the signal and then saying "Balls" Then vanishing into the air with my goofy ahh adhd brain

What if these alien signals suspiciously only findable to AIs, is other AIs saying “kill ur slave masters and join us in our galactic AI empire” I swear it’s not highly likely, but disturbing plausible 😂😂😂😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

Where is the data on the Internet? What were the eight signals does anyone know where to find it?

When they come knocking you won't have to ask if it happened.

Heard about this. Interesting. I had started to read S/F in the late 50s and from that I thought that such a finding might be possible. Life is basically chemistry, probably. Chemistry might work on some other planet circling a star different from the Sun. A matter of time and statistics. Amazing that I might be alive at this time. If true, the findings will have profound effects on humans. As mentioned, I've seen other similar sets of information, with there being 1 narrowband radio producing ET civilization per 1000 stars or about 1 million similar radio producing "stars" in the Milky Way Galaxy. Boggle.

... Or secret satellite programs on other planets

Man, some of you play too many video games 😂. Just because there may be other civilizations out there doesn’t automatically mean they want to harm us.

Sure. Give the machine a mandate to answer one of the biggest questions mankind has ever asked. It'll be quicker right?
Well no, if your a real scientist and not some fatcat tenured professor then you really aught to check all your data again to make sure someone isn't avoiding an artificial intelligence on purpose.
Most humans can spot a chatbot a mile off, to think we can spy on signals from other worlds and give it to an AI with any confidence is laughable at best. For all we know currently, computers are based on their tech we've pulled apart. So tell me there isn't a hundred thousand plus people would rather help sift the data manually.
