Extensive damage can still be seen months after hurricane Helene brought devastating flooding to western North Carolina. Snow and cold weather are only adding negative impacts to the recovery process across the region.

There will be little re-building, as they had just dumped millions into the revitalization of Asheville over these many years. And Asheville is only 1 of 100 Counties suffering. The worst is yet to come.
