Today I take the discouragement out of a warped cutting board. This specific cutting board cupped right at the end, and I show how you can fix it using an iron. No more planning it back down or sanding it back down. This saves your project from going in the trash!

So, we made a few boards last week, got them flat, oiled and Waxed. Sold them, so when adding feet today, I noticed they were both twisted slightly ( has a rock from corner to corner) . We added washers to feet to level out, but don't know what happened! Or if this will be a problem with all boards from now on, any thoughts?

Hi, stumbled on your videos trying to fix my warped board. I’m not woodworking person, I just purchased one off eBay but it has a small noticeable frown warp for sitting on the counter for too long without maintenance, would you recommend the same way to help straighten out an older board? Thanks!

My recently made board cups throughout the day from side to side. I am flipping it every 12 hours with hopes it will balance out eventually, but pretty shocking to see it move this much. I suspect it has something to do with the moisture and temperature difference between my garage and my house (built during rainy winter). If I have the patience I think I will try to bring the glued up board inside to acclimatize before I flatten it.

Do you wet the towel before ironing it? Also I have heard that wood warps during the cooling phase. How long do you leave it be after youre done with the ironing? Thank you
