Hands down the best modding tutorial. You seem to actually remember that the people looking these up know nothing about modding, hence needing a tutorial, and it's so nice to be in capable hands. I'm just going to slowly go through your tutorials and follow along.

Dude, I've only modded once before and it was manually. This seems amazing to me. Just getting back into gaming. Started Skyrim last year. Thanks for your patience! When people say they will talk slowly in these videos it always makes me feel like an idiot newb because I always have to go back in the same multiple times. Also thank you for not saying "and just click that" without specifying. Hope you know that you are an incredible educator.

Installing it in 2024, they completely changed the layout so that Gopher's super clear explanations no longer match with it. Great...

At this point I just watch Gophers videos regardless of what they are. You could narrate yourself sleeping and I would watch it.

I came here to learn about Vortex after watching Gopher's older videos on Beginner's Guide to Modding Skyrim . Not only have I achieved that but I got to watch an epic dragon fight at the end. Thanks Gopher!

I liked nexus mod manager, it was nice, it worked. Then they disable it and now I have to relearn everything. I'm not impressed.

Even if I've modded my games for more than a decade I always find myself watching your tutorials videos.
Its the most comprehensive ones I could ever find on Youtube.

Just a question though, will you cover the transfer of a managed game from NMM to Vortex in one of your upcoming videos ?

Holy moly, reinstalled Vortex on a new computer and this video is actually the Intro video in Vortex! As long as you gave permission that's amazing. You're still my go-to instructor for mods

quite frankly i'm not happy... i was perfectly happy with nexus mod manager, and now they've gone out of their way to make the product unusable... maybe i'm just salty that i have to navigate a whole new program when the first one already works just fine... also i never even knew vortex existed until today...
