FULL CONTROL + REMOVE GUEST ACCOUNT ON WINDOWS

First things first, go into your Registry by clicking the -Start- button, click -Run- and type:-
Regedit
and then ckick -OK-.
Make your way here:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SAM\SAM
To go beyond SAM you have to give yourself permission by right-clicking the second SAM Key, choose -Permissions...- highlight the -Administrator- and click the -Full Control- box, click -Apply- and -OK-, then close and re-open Regedit.

If that doesn't work, try this:-
Highlight the second SAM Key, right-click it and choose -Permissions...-.
Highlight the user (Administrators) and then click the -Advanced- button, highlight Administrators again then click the -Edit...- button.
Place a tick in -Full Control-, click -Apply- and -OK-, then -OK- then close and re-open Regedit to get to the extra sections.

Then make your way here in the Registry:-
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SAM\SAM\Domains\Account\Users\0 00001F5

Click the Users Folder and than click the + by the Names Folder and right click Guest and Delete. Now you've removed the guest account.

EXCELLENT tutorial - Instructions were clear, worked flawlessly. To the scaremongers: Don't insult people's intelligence. They've come here to find a solution AND IT WORKS. Mistakes by a few gives you no right to scare the rest of people into relinquishing their right to take ownership of their own machines.

Also did you try to right click on sam to edit the guest acct further.What if I make a new user acct, will I be able to get into safe-mode thru that to get back into reg just in case I mess up?If this works, this will probably be this single most important pc video on youtube, I think anyway.This vid is the shizzzznahhh!!!!

Wow. For those of you that have no idea what you're doing, I will give you a fair warning. Backup your registry before trying anything as a YouTube video is not going to help a novice. That warning is for your own good. Seriously guys if you don't have a clue, I'm sure you know someone that can help. Changing stuff like this as a beginner is NOT a good idea. I've seen way too many comments about "I just messed up my pc watching your video. Fix it " Well, think about what you're doing and don't rely on just ONE damm video. Do some research and learn some things. And I would also like to suggest you do a total system backup as well as the Regedit backup. Rant over. Have a great day everyone !! :)

I accidently disabled admin accout. Can't run programs as admin anymore. When I select run as admin the only option I can select is "No", there is no "Yes". When trying to enable in "Computer management" it says "acces denied". How do I reactivate my admin account? :(

You are NOT deleting the whole guest account. You are merely stopping it from showing up during the account selection and in the configuration screen. This guy clearly has no idea what he's doing. Don't just randomly start deleting or editing thing from the windows registry. For a novice it's like walking an a field filled with landmines.

I have a HomeGroupUser$ on my windows 7 yet when I get on my laptop it only has 1 account not two. So can you remove the HomeGroupUser$? and if you can will it have any BAD side effects. God forbid it kills my computer, or make it where I can't get on it any more

I don't understand..am I administrators in my sam folder or administrator or should I just do my set up name?lol Sorry, I don't mean to sound so stupid, but I don't wanna get locked out & this is my chance to get that bas-turd back!He tool $120 bux as well. i dont get it i try all these things all the time changing mine this that the other thing and i CONSTANTLY am hit with "Access is deined" AND IT PISSES ME OFF according to the sam thing Admin/(myuser) are the owner and i am logged on as just me so should i change owner to just me?

Mine says the system is the owner.Does that mean that I have a super user that has taken over my pc? I've had problems since I let my EX-FRIEND set up my pc 4 me back in 2010.He's a tech going around hijacking ppl's os's & he took mine too, the fat bastard! I was a noobie & he got me.I changed my pw on my hidden user acct.Should I create a new acct b4 doing this?Will that prevent me from being locked out?This is cool.I really hope it helps me.

I was gonna use this little suggestion, but my computer is wireless network connection, so I got another way for people to not use my computer, I'll just take the damn Wireless antenna, no internet, no use.
Not only that I don't want to ruin my computer, so if you want to keep people off your computer, I suggest you find a way that doesn't involve putting your computer at risk, take something from the computer that it needs...don't completely ruin it .
As for me I'm taking the Wireless antenna and for laptop users....just take the fuckin battery and charger, there's many other suggestions other than ruining your computer :)

Hey so i deleted it thanks man although, is there anyway to redownload or get another guest account instead of making a new account? i guess its basically the same thing but the reason i wanted to delete the guest account was because while one of my relatives was using it, it got a virus and i dont have an antivirus so i decided to delete it
Any ideas? thanks very much
