I found some really nice blackout curtains at Family Dollar for $16 for two. Very good quality too.

Found that my two basement light 💡 bulbs were still the old style, got those changed out, thanks for the reminder.

I love LED light bulbs, not because of the electric bill, but because I hate replacing them

LED lightbulbs is one area where time has improved things. Seems like more and more things get flimsier and flimsier.

They are more costly but our hybrid water heater saves around $500 a year...over 10 years you definitely come out ahead over a standard water heater that's maybe $1000 cheaper.

How about lowering the heat. Wear some warm clothes, and fuzzy socks. I see Americans wear T shirts in the winter and just wonder why🤷🏻‍♀️

Switched to LED in our basement, we had 2x 120W bulbs in there from the previous owners! Absolute insanity

There is only so much doing without, living below your means that is possible. Some of this is pure greed.

It seems like your tip on replacing incandescent light bulbs with LED light bulbs is kind of an outdated tip. No incandescent light bulb has been manufactured in the United States since 2014. In the stores, it is near impossible to find any incandescent bulbs to purchase.
Your tip is accurate, but insignificant. It is like saying that you should buy a gas powered car versus a steam engine car.
