Don’t forget to take a picture of your checked bag. They always ask for a description when you report it lost 😊 loved your content.

Here’s a little tip. I was traveling out of the country and I decided to begin packing like 2 weeks before the date. I decided to make my den the place where I would pack all my things at . My den is next to the kitchen. Little did I know that everything that was already packed up was just sitting there soaking up the smells of whatever I was cooking that day. Going back and forth to my suit case, I didn’t smell anything because you become immune. Well, as soon as I got onto the plane (tight space), I opened my travel purse and bammm! The food smells hit me. When I got to my destination and opened my suitcase, it was the same smell. I was smelling like a whole pot roast my whole trip. No amount of perfume could cover that. Anyway, don’t pack your bags around the kitchen or strong traveling smells. 😂😂😂

I always pack a fanny pack and wear it under my coat or sweater onto the plane. They never count it as another personal item, and I put in it all the things I will need for the flight. Once on board, I take it off, lengthen the straps fully, and hang it over the tray in front of me (the tray can still close for take-off). Then I can use it as a sling to elevate my feet. Perfect for long-haul flights.

AirTags are the best. We went to Egypt and on the way back home, we had a long layover in Canada. My suitcase was mistakenly put on the carousel, but my husband’s was supposedly transferred. Needless to say, his bag was still in Canada while we were home. So we had to wait for it arrive, then wait until the luggage claim was open to retrieve it. The AirTag allowed us to tell the clerk at the airport that his luggage was there and we weren’t leaving without it. We got our luggage and left. 😊

Don’t do TSA pre-check, do Global Entry instead and you get TSA pre-check with it. It’s marginally more (you pay $100) but is a huge time saver when coming back into the US from abroad.

Apply for Global Entry. It's the TSA precheck for both international and domestic travel (at all US airports). Clear is not available at some airports. Global Entry is $100 and good for five years.

I can't say how much I enjoyed this presentation. Suffice it to say that I stopped it at every point and add a point to my to-do list for the Paris trip in 2 days. Awesome, and a totally engaging personality. I have been traveling for years, but I learned a lot here. clearly, this is the BEST travel tip video. I get anxious even before a 150-mile auto trip--yet I LOVE traveling. You really made a difference for me in this video.

Aww! We just noticed the tech pouch you have from us. It's an honor to be shown in one of your video!😍

Sis, I lowkey shed a tear...thank you!

Tip: upgrade to 1st class for even one segment of your flight to get upgraded checked bags instead of paying for overweight/extra bags.

Definitely subscribing!

I use compressed wash cloths. They’re about the size of an Alka-Seltzer tablet, maybe a little smaller and they expand when you put them in water or run water over them. 👍🏾

The sanitization portion really resonated with me. I screamed “Tribe!” when you mentioned all the things I do and bring on my trips as well.

TIP: Clear is not with every airport, but TSA Pre Check is. Also, Global Entry is great if you travel abroad it's 5 years as well and it takes over TSA Precheck, so you will have 5 years of Global Entry that will start immediately, and if you let it expire you will still have whatever years you had for TSA Precheck left over before Global Entry started.

Yes to the travel towel, shower shoes, and wash clothes! The travel towel was a game changer for me! Light, quick drying, and compact

Great tips! Disclaimer: My grandpa's house smelled like a hospital as he used ammonia and Lysol several times a day, so today as a germaphobe I use Lysol and ninety-nine percent alcohol in a spray bottle right as hand sanitizer typically only has about 65% alcohol. Also, don't forget to turn your work alarms off. There's nothing worse than waking up early on vacation when you could have slept in but can't get back to sleep because of the alarm.

I LOVE this video. As someone who travels A LOT, I clicked this video extremely fast. If you don’t want to be loyal to any particular airlines, I’d recommend Gold Alliance or something similar to build status with different airlines and transfer points between airlines. I can vouch for the Amazon cheap tech case, toilet seat covers, sani wipes, quick dry towel, air tag, and Monos luggage!!! I use all these items for every trip. You didn’t mention the hero clip but I also use one for travel and it’s been a game changer and has SOOO many uses. Also, yes on the stop by Hudson News! 😂 P.S. as a fellow germaphobe I’d recommend getting soap sheets. They look kind of like the listinerine sheets but it’s soap and dissolves with water. Super compact but totally useful.

I recommend Global Entry instead of just going for TSA Pre.

I’m a germaphobe also. I stock up on $1.00 flip flops (Dollar store, or end of summer at Target $1.00 and wear in any hotel or ABNB shower. I toss them out the last night of trip after my last shower. Also double as slippers.

One tip that has always helped me arriving on time for flight is to use the boarding time as my target time for flying. Never use the departure time as they close 15mins before and the typically start boarding 30-60 mins before flight.

Clear + TSA PreCheck = Dream Team ✨ Makes traveling such a breeze. Sad I didn’t do it sooner! 😅
