Forget Raspberry Pis! Turning a $20 ThinClient into a Retro Gaming Machine!
Показать описание
Hey everyone! Ever found yourself staring at Raspberry Pi prices and thinking there has to be another way? Today, we're diving into that "other way" by converting a $20 HP t620 ThinClient into a retro gaming setup.
We kick things off with a look at the ThinClient. Let me tell you, for a piece of tech that cost less than a couple of pizzas, it's surprisingly well-equipped for the job.
Then comes the storage upgrade. We're taking it from a limited 16GB to a spacious 256GB. Because the only thing better than one retro game is hundreds of retro games.
Next, we’ll tackle the RetroPie installation. If you can follow a recipe, you can follow along with this—minus the risk of burning anything.
And while I'd love to round it off with some gameplay, consider this your raincheck. We're focusing on the build and setup today—leaving the boss battles and high scores for you to experience firsthand.
If you find this helpful or even slightly entertaining, a thumbs-up would be appreciated. If you've got thoughts or questions, the comment section is all ears.
