Yes. So, regarding prescription drugs? We can cover 100% of the cost of drug development, which we can do at universities. Then simply require the multiple producers we license to make it, sell it at very reasonable prices.
Meds should be free for low-income people, at least.
Because Medicare would save a lot of money if the government held onto drug patents and licensed them this way, it would almost certainly pay for itself.

A survey in 2018 determined: Roughly 34 million Americans knew someone who died in the last 5 years because of lack of access to drugs, or treatment.

Most industrialized countries have a universal healthcare scheme.
We don't.
If one averages what Americans pay, per capita, for healthcare, we pay double what the closest country to us pays for the same services. (That would be Switzerland)

For that expense, our overall metrics are crappy. We die sooner on average, have a higher maternal and infant mortality rate.

Those who have lived in Europe, where health care and insurance is diverse and affordable and now lives in USA wonders why the most developed nation has such bad healthcare and basic humans rights services like payed sick leave, maternal care etc….

What about those medications that help diabetics instead or with insulin like Ozempic? It's 1400 dollars a month and most insurance companies are NOT paying for it!

Insulin for no more than $35 a month! Wow (just to add that, even with our government not finding the NHS properly in the UK, it’s free!

I am a single mom who in 2014 needed a surgery and it would cost 3, 500 dollars, and they required a minimum of 80% up front, as a mom who made too much $ somehow! But barley living paycheck to paycheck as my kids never even had store bought clothes! I was told at the ER that they couldn’t help me on one painful night, only when it becomes EMERGENT, just so you know he told me to get there soon as it could kill me. Let me tell you, it did kill me multiple times on the surgery table and not only that, I had to have 3 surgeries and around 50 tests and post surgery visits for six months due to infection, and have lasting effects that plague me daily. To keep this short, I hate so called Americas health care we are the bottom of all the countries, the 3, 500 dollar surgery ended up costing the taxpayers 3.2MM DO BETTER AMERICA!

Anyone else find it hypocritical when she says, "healthcare is a human rights." And the next thing she says is to go online and see what's affordable? That doesnt make it a right. If it was a right, it'd cost nothing out of pocket.

Health care should be a basic right but it's not. Insurance costs huge money and your quality of care is directly tied to the insurance you can afford. Medicaid gets you minimal care. Other insurance coverage may get you even less.

If you get into an accident, and you make $30k a year, and you get the Catastrophic health plan, you'll perhaps end up with medical debt of about $10k.

Jesus Christ loves you and died on the cross for you. Give your life to him and follow him. Repent and accept him as your Lord and savior. Talk to him and cry out to him. He loves us so much more than we could ever comprehend. God bless you all.🙏❤
